Here are some pictures of various tree species taken around the Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms, and Charleston areas. Since taken a few years ago, most required some tree care near me such as:
- The weeping willow tree continued to look worse and worse and was removed.

- The river birch continued the decline you see, lost a limb due to a windstorm and had to be removed.
- The American sycamore tree top 15 feet died due to lace bug infestation and poor fertilization. A tropical storm snapped that portion off. The homeowner elected to have a tree service company treat for the bugs and conduct deep root fertilization in order to save the tree.
- The sweet gum tree was hit by lighting, died and had to be removed.
- The silver maple lost a major limb in a windstorm but survived. A year after that another windstorm broke off another major portion near the trunk and the tree had to be removed.
- The redbud tree was blown over in a tropical storm, couldn’t recover and had to be removed.
